At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Not really a fan of removing explorer since I already grinded it to high levels, and there are a few other things I disagree with…but I appreciate the efforts of anyone who has enough passion to put together a well thought out list they obviously spent a great deal of time on.
Kudos.
If you want to make a seasonal type server successful you need to provide an incentive by offering players exclusives they can’t get anywhere else for participating – such as unique costumes, titles before their character name or a unique identifier (like a gold star over their head).
Everyone wants to be a special snowflake.
The key to this would be providing unique rewards every season that would require a decent but not overwhelming amount of time to reach (i.e. – leveling to 60 or reaching UW 30) to prevent people from just creating a character in Noob Village and still collecting rewards.
A permanent leaderboard that shows past seasonal placement would help as well.
I do think that since the options for end game play are somewhat limited, that a seasonal type system is the solution for long-term player retention.
I like research skill the way it is, in fact I’d like to see all spell damage and benefits scale off of the research skill instead of how it is currently designed.
Let me just go ahead and state what hasn’t been said yet. The “silent” majority of players don’t care about dogs, dog training, or any sort of addition or enhancement to the pet system.
Development time would be much, much better suited towards enhancing game play that everyone can enjoy instead of a very small percentage of the player base.
Please, no more pet content…enough time has already been wasted on it.
+1 to this idea as well. Hopefully the powers that be can stop working on cat art and focus on something like this instead
Considering Admin implemented the infamy change as a way to discourage low level griefing and handicapping a “legitimate” way to raise assassin skills, I personally think he doesn’t mind using duel statues to raise the skill, in fact he may even prefer this method to PKs.
As an update: I got the angel dust function to work properly by having someone kill me. It appears the best thing to do is to die right away when you start a new character.
If you try and reincarnate without having never died, it doesn’t seem to function properly
I may have died and not realized it. My mistake if that is the case.
I wouldn’t be opposed to this, a good way to further reward those who choose to resource gather.
Agree, to be more specific – I was thinking of it only popping up when the cursor is placed on a character (not visible normally)
