This happened to me today too. Opened a chest, had time to lens it, then it disappeared.
I agree with this suggestion 100%. Bump.
It should be a boss that spawns hive soldiers every time you hit it, and takes a raid of people to take down. Also there should be a skeleton king boss that spawns skeleton lords. And maybe a skeleton emperor that spawns skeleton kings. And they have like 50k hp.
The regen from coriander is pretty rad actually.
I did play way back near the beginning, but I only popped in for a short period here and there until the last couple of years. Ninkazi almost sounds familiar, but I suspect I missed playing during that time. 🙁

So, in my experience, each level has a certain number of things that can spawn, so you can get more gem rocks by clearing others as well as breaking tables/looting chests/using altars etc. Ruby and emerald scaling beyond +3 is 1,000 for +4 and 10,000 for +5 which is the max for everything except two handers.
That would be awesome. I’ll second that.

Well, we wanted to welcome Lightblade to the neighborhood, so we threw something together for him just now, HGTV home reno style. Here’s the secret base before (kinda sad, but many beginnings are humble):
And then we put together a welcome package, completing the floor, and giving some aloe, food, feathers in case he wants to be an archer, a repair kit which is always handy, and even an escape lantern so he can make a safe trip to the underworld to farm gems:

The game was full loot for months, and I played back when penalties were much more severe and without dust. Game is better now. Lots of people liked the idea of harsh penalties before, but the reality of it was that people would die, get depressed, and quit the game. It’s cool that some people want more excitement, but a lot of people find it too demoralizing.
It would really help my paranoia if in levelup public message we would see person’s main skill.
I don’t mind sharing that. My highest skill is hunting, which is currently 65. 🙂
Yeah, dragon scales give a permanent 25k boost to max hp, + 100 for each level of construction skill you have.
