well that is true. KoS did bother me at first but there is other servers with people to play with and I am having a lot of fun on texas. tried EU server for a day or so too and everyone has bee very nice I am glad I did not abandon this game. the hoe and shovel. now that is something that has me at odds because digging is very easy to be botted if there were shovels with higher durability then many people would just have alts everywhere just digging. I don’t think that is good. especially for players who specialize in gathering dirt/mud/clay as a source of gold. On the other hand it would be nice to see more items in the game for these things and adjust accordingly. That being said I do think it would be good to maybe have runes that increase durability or maybe a smith ability that gives greater item endurance. Or possibly if a repair skill specialist could do it. Again it falls to the same problem as before. I think the dev will come up with something eventually.

    Such contrasting messages you give.
Show me where I am crying and begging for safe zones. Specifically.

Or where lies and hate are being spread.

Or even where there are complaints. You likely won’t find a half dozen of those although there are a couple yes.

Not sure how making suggestions for improving the combat system and having a broader range of weapons be viable equates to my wanting a non-combat game …

Again do you even bother to research and read before all this nonsense gets sent? Accusations have weight with evidence. Still yet to see anything from you except an admittance that this is a vendetta for you.
Are you one of the nubs I raided?

Noone is suggesting PvP is removed @MightyMicro. Peace just clearly has an issue with me for whatever reason. Suggestions of an expanded startwr area solve the problems we’ve both noticed.

And shovels will be getting an update soon 🙂

That exact scenario of a new player accidentally – or at least so they said – hitting a wall has happened at least twice that I’ve seen on Europe,

    Lie.

This drama between Asylum and other players really taints the forum suggestions. I come here to read what suggestions other have and all I see are these arguments in multiple topics. Please, I’m sure this is not what many others are coming here to look at either.

As for shovels, yes, they will be coming soon.

What I would like to add on about East Galebrook being used for more housing… Maybe have a new market area added around there, and a new area to do some training, like snake pit… This will help encourage players to move to the new area. Zone skipping is always an option though, but imo I prefer living close to the market area, especially for the quick entrance into the uw… and catacombs. I almost never go to east Galebrook because of how far it is. I’m sure others have different opinions on this topic, but just wanted to share some of my thoughts.

I don’t think anyone should be punished or rewarded for deciding to reincarnate or not. This whole idea is flawed. Also the Dev already hinted at higher tier shovels coming.

The biggest issue with older players is that you come to find that 90% of the “New” players aren’t actually “new”. They’re just some troll or someone trying to hide out pretending to be new or someone else. So it leads you to be wary of anyone claiming to be new.

Hate to say it but im really debating quiting. I was raided by the same overpowerd player for the 3rd time. I honestly feel like my whole time on this game, although really fun, was a compleate waist of time. I am glad i supported. But, unhappy i was raided 2 days later.
SO MANY conflicting feelings!!lol i dont even care about shovels anymore.
I just want my stuff back 🙁
Arlock after reading you post saying how you just went to a new server and how you glad you did… might keep me playing.
    But right now im good.
I will leave a good review. Dont worry dev.
    By guys.

Should point out: there is a noob area which is already pve. I don’t understand why people keep skipping over using that place to their full advantage. Especially the part about not reading the tutorial signs and then later asking everyone how to do everything, after they’re beyond lvl 15.

Also, I saw when the mighty crew first joined. The first thing they started doing was attacking other players as a group of four people. They were initially kosed for that, not “accidentally attacking walls”. I don’t know about further kos’s, but some players choose to Kos differently than others. It’s not about the server, but rather individuals whether or not your kosed out of existence.

Also, more shovels are planned for a future update. + There is only one dev and help from his wife. The game doesn’t have a dev “team” so some degree of lenience should be recognized about progress of the game’s development.

@ion00 i appresiate the information about the dev and the greater insight on the”dev team” that i thought exsisted. Honestly if the man and his wife made this by themselfs then this is truley increadable. I give them all my repects and thank the greatly for the fun exsperence that had playing this game.

Of cource. The 3 of is did join the game and we did neglect the signs and we did rush everything.I will take the blame because i tend to rush through thing alot in life. But is this to be blamed 100 percent the player? Were was our motivation to read the signs? When we entered the city where was the caution to not attack anyone. Yoi almost support my topic. Maybe all lower levels should be pve for this ression.
There were ALOT of crittical tid bits i missed.
Like the game was 90% pvp.
When you died you lose levels.
I didnt know that there were quests for like a week.
Thats not all but i think my exsperence would have been slightly different if some of this information was forced onto the player. The game is unlike any game i have ever played. i will take resposability for entering it like it is a hack and slasher but i would hope that the dev would take alittle bit of responcibility too. There are some things that are missing we all know that… But thoes little things can have a dramatic impact on how the players exspereinces the game.
Just a thought… How many new players could have a bad exsperence because they neglect the sign and have a lack of information. How many are lost because of it?
Again, i say it all the time… I made alot of mistakes when i first joined the game, it was because of my ignorence and inexsperence. But with every mistake i made there was a player there that taught me and helped me learn.
And i wpuld hope u cant denie that i tryed my hardest to be more altruestic every day in the community.
I honestly whole heartedly trydes my hardest to be a party of the community and play the game, a game that i really enjoyed, and it was made impossable because higher levels being able to destory and kill the stuff that i built and i.
Im not exsagerating. im not pleeding my case im not crying or looking for sympethy. Im just pointing out and trying to gather iformations about something that i feel is a issue and could possably harm the popularity and ferther succsess.
    Something i dont want.
Oh and shairing my exsperenice alot the way.

You should have joined a peaceful tribe and been a “peaceful” player. That would have determined your play style. Once u attack and want to mess with players your usually considered “game” a player who is on most pkers able to kill list, any body lvl 60+ is also on this list. Even those who are in the PvP community cry as I have found out when someone kills them for there gear and results in begging for the gear and threating to raid, got my tribe to kill/kick me in my sleep and take all my things. I’m now rebuilding all all over, it wont take me long tho before I’m at there door with my towers/mace. See this is the way this game is built. The learning curve is huge and the situations created by players make the game interesting. There a challenge every time u log on and I love it. Maybe a better intro guide should be implemented, its a hard game to pick up but after a day of playing your hooked.

@peaceanddags Seeing the way you described it gives me a greater sence on how players could find being obliterated somewhat appealing. I respect you input, my concern is towords the growth in population and influx of revenue. I have said this multiple time. I want to see this game grow.
I want to play it for 7 years like i did with runescape. i want to quit after 7 then come back 7 years later and see its become 7x greater.
I feel like the game cant be a game without the players and if an amount of players… That are not just aulternitive accounts… Quit the game will become stale the in game economes will be worthless. Surly you understand that not everyone has the unique way to challange in game advercity like youself.
A new player plays for a few days gets caught up in whatever and for some reason there is a unforgiving and roethless elite destroying everything you built. And no mater how many times you rebuild he keeps showing up and obliterating you for whatever reasion he can think of. He is just playing the game but its not fun for whoever is getting walked over.
Likelyhood to continue playing for that play gets pretty slim.

I agree that shouldnt happen and +1 on protecting new players, lets give them 48 hours “protected” for a great start! That would be nice I support that. I just don’t know how u do that without having a lot of players abuse this “protection” and that’s the problem. Restricted zones is a bad idea imo so give us a good idea how to protect new players and ill support.

Well protecting players in the begining is very crittical i personally feel as if a more perminit fix would be need.

let the subject die! Not the game.

I like the idea of a built in tutorial guide page for the game. That when creating a new character has a big flag telling the player “hey look! There’s a tutorial right here!” I agree the signs are not noticable enough, as well as the quests which tell you to read the signs
