In case you didn’t see the patch notes in the forums, you can now find +1, +2, and the rare +3 enhanced armor and weapons from treasure chests in the underworld. These bonuses are for the natural armor/damage stats – so you can still boost it further with gems and theoretically make a +8 damage weapon! This would be rare to find, but your ‘questing’ skill will increase the chance. It will also increase the chance you get bonus quantities from stacking treasures. Now go make the best equipment in the game, most likely dying a few times along the way 🙂

After a couple server transfers and intense code optimizing, the game is now running stable and smooth even with several players on. Following the perma-login update some traffic from Reddit really stress tested the server. New bugs and limitations came to the surface which was great for development: Tons of crash fixes and general bugs have been squashed. Gates and roads are nice to use again, the underworld will randomize a little less often, and tribe tower HP has been significantly increased. The influx of new players is a lot of fun and the perma-login experiment has been fascinating so far. More features coming soon!

A fresh start for everyone begins now as the old players and items have been wiped. You have 3 months this season, on September 13th the top players will be posted. Congrats to Jopah for topping the level chart and reaching level 250 of skytower last season:

Testing yesterday went awesome. We had over 10 people running around trying to figure out the world. Many bases popped up and there is still much to discover.

Initial alpha testing will be starting tomorrow, on the 12th. The game will be made available in the afternoon (maybe around 1pm PST) though this could change. There may be downtime as any issues are ironed out. Please report bugs and balance suggestions in game or on the forums. (more…)
