Delivering NPCs using a Raft

Hi, I have tested using a raft to move a npc to one location to another. I have succeeded in making an npc get on a raft and travel. However the problem is that I can’t make the npc get to the specific destination. This is because the npc moves while on the raft and thus controls the way the raft moves. I want the npc to travel down a straight line on the water tile. However since the npc moves they would either travel down a straight line for a while then move up, down, left, or right depending on what the npc decides to do.

Now I figure that there should be an item to allow us to herd or corral npc thus making it more easier for people to start a farm. Another thing is to have the npc not move while they are on a raft since it makes it harder to transport the npc across water.

JVH is considering making NPCs unable to control raft or move until they’re on land.
