Initial alpha testing will be starting tomorrow, on the 12th. The game will be made available in the afternoon (maybe around 1pm PST) though this could change. There may be downtime as any issues are ironed out. Please report bugs and balance suggestions in game or on the forums. (more…)
Another update and a small screenshot to show off the new smooth tiling I implemented today. Grass, snow, and desert tiles will automatically wrap around any other terrain, and it looks great!
Tall ominous towers have been added that automatically take nearby arrows and fire them at anyone who isn’t part of their creator’s tribe. When any player or animal is wounded they will drip blood depending on how bad their health is. Certain animals can now breed with one another under special conditions. Lots of additions for just two days time. Now when you hover over players it adds additional information to their title, which is just their first name by default. On hover it will expand into first, last, tribe, and level. NPCs now hide their title, until you look at them.
The chat console is a lot more colorful and with italic or bold text sometimes. Now you can copy/paste from the chat field too! When you (more…)
So the various animals drop an assortment of useful things. Pelts, bones, hide, raw meat, and stranger items with differing chances now. Chickens also drop eggs, though not when they die.. just when they feel like popping one out. They can be collected and cooked on the fire for some extra nutrition.
