you could try /bchat – it should reduce the messages to just PM’s, tribe chat, and system messages. I doubt that would get rid of the box, but it should help lessen the words scrolling by.
Weird! Do they come when you call them?
has it improved? it seems like there were some website issues earlier today but things are stable for me now
+1 Hmm, I would like it to be a Triple button, in the sense that you can use PK / pvp only with people, and another that applies to people and structures
in principle I agree but we’re getting away form having a simple on/off toggle so we’re going a little far afield of the original point. But since we’re here anyway – I end up with /pvp on most of the time because of having to do base management and training destruction etc, even though I don’t generally player kill. It might be useful to add more options, maybe split it into four (or 3 if we could just merge 2 below into the current /pvp off function):
1 – cannot kill other players, hit other players structures, kill your own dog but you can hit your own structures (current mechanism of /pvp off)
2 – all of the above but also restrict you from hitting your OWN structures, basically you can’t hit anything but monsters, possibly restrict accidentally murdering someone else’s dog (unless this is already in /pvp, haven’t tested it)
3 – can only kill other people/dogs but may not hit ANY structures
4 – can kill people, dogs, any structure, etc. (current mechanism of /pvp on)+1 to a button to easily turn it off and on, however I’d be as happy with just some sort of visual indicator as to whether I have it on or off.
based on googletranslate you’re saying that you put a ww3 in a shop, and no one bought it but the book is gone now
I would say it is likely that someone stole your book. Use a lens to check your walls to make sure they all belong to you, make sure there’s no nature tiles they could have roped in through, make sure no one else could access that room.
+1, the fact that I kept picking them up by mistake led to me putting less out for a while, traps could certainly use some enhancement as far as tracking where they are

people will hoard resources and removing gold rock spawns impacts everyone, not just the people trying to keep them to themselves. other rocks will spawn eventually.
Another player fed them or something killed them would be my best guess there
+1 for this or perhaps something that simply tells me who is on from my tribe when I first log in. It would also be neat if there was some indication of how long its been since they logged in
+1, though this is a super low priority for me 🙂
lol it seems mean but +1 to the pack animal dropping everything upon death if we’re going to have pack animals, otherwise its just a means to bypass gaining myst for packrat
The ‘safest’ place to find dogs would be in the underground, level 3 – basically go down stairs and then go down another set of stairs. Bring a lantern with you in case you fall down a hole, and try to remember where the stairs you went down were so you can easily go back up. You’re taking a risk if you go up some random set of stairs, sometimes people build traps.
You can also randomly find them on other underworld levels, further down than that.
You will want to drop 1-2 pieces of cooked or uncooked food (but not OLD food) for the dog, when he says Arf! he will begin following you around. You can say stay in local chat (only) to make him stay, you can say come to make him follow you again. You should put him near a bed so he can heal and feed him after he’s yours, but not TOO much food (you can check his hunger level by clicking on him and then clicking info, from a distance or with /pvp off). Also, other people can steal your dogs by feeding them, and if you put them in your house they will eat your food, honey, pepper, and herbs.
It’s very likely that while you were away someone pushed your character into snake pit. I haven’t seen it done but have heard of people doing this to others and it is possible to move people if they’re not paying attention.
When you upgrade skill mastery it unlocks more levels, otherwise uou get stuck around level 15. You continue to accrue xp even past your skill mastery cap, so once you unlocked that upgrade your level shot up to match your xp.
