Description: Character “A” was repeatedly activating duel statue, while the other (“B”) (caddy-cornered to statue) had “A” targeted with a dagger. Both characters had pvp off. After a short time swinging, “B” began dealing damage to “A” and gained infamy despite both characters still having pvp off. “B” continued doing damage to “A” (beyond just 1 hit), so the error allowed for the start of pvp combat, but also the continuance as well.
Location: The Underground (USE2).
Suspicion: A duel canceled at the same time the dagger swing connected, resulting in an error.
Time/Date of Occurrence: Oct. 8, 2018 @ approx. 3pm eastern.
how that happens is if one player A isnt in the duel at the statue but player B is in battle or waiting for battle, player A can hit player B at least once sometimes twice and do actual damage to their health outside of the battle, but then player B will be removed from the battle due to outside damage and wont be able to be in the duel any more from such, as soon as player B is removed, they will no longer receive damage from player A (as long as player A has PVP off or is tribe mate)…
