    More times than I can count, I have stood awkwardly waiting for someone to respond only to find out that they weren’t typing in the first place- they expected me to say something more. We usually find the situation funny but it isn’t exactly copacetic to wonder if someone else is trying to say something more while they do the same for an overlong time.
