this idea is one I would love to come to life. I have sent dev a 200-word email on the subject of bringing night to mystrera. this would be game-changing, lanterns would glow,tougher mobs would spawn at night such as creepers/watchers, standing torches would light your base,dark hero plate mail would make you harder to see in the dark, and a new use for beds if you do not sleep for a while (such as three days) you will get an exhaustion debuff which decreases your skills and health. as for time I suggest for every one irl hour its three hours in game. I feel like this game would boom after this update. personally, I have seen a lot of people lose interest the game needs more spice now.

Posts: 3Nice food for thought! I don’t want to put words in the dev’s mouth, but as far as the popularity of this game goes it feels like it’ll get a lot bigger when it gets more fleshed out. It’d be pretty crowded with like even 3-4x players right now.
This project looks to be a labor of love above all else and in time when the game gets more content at which point the dev could start to advertise the game and subsequently the population would probably rise dramatically. Just my 2 silver
