I figured I’d compile a list cuz I’m fond of using them. Feel free to chime in, add more, correct me, etc. 😀
gz – congratulations, congratz, etc.
gg – good game
gf – good fight
afk – away from keyboard
ig – in game
irl – in real life
vc – voice chat
ftw – for the win
ftl – for the loss
ftr – for the record
fwiw – for what its worthgriefing – putting walls in front of someone’s doors, digging up floor tiles, etc.
grinding – endlessly working on a particular skill
pvp – player vs. player
pve – player vs. everything (i think)
mobs – monsters
uw – underworld
sk – skeleton king
reinc – reincarnation (working towards blue stars in a particular skill)
ascender – someone who does not intend to reincarnateug – underground
ow – overworld (ground level of the game)
cr – crossroads
ss – south sands, or screen shot
cem – cemetery
cata – catacombs
afaik – as far as I know
kos – kill on sight
ks – kill steal (someone kills a mob you are currently fighting)-
