Imagine you meet a person with a number of doggos with them.

The communication is rather scarce… you do not know why. All you hear is “come” and “stay” and you are confused why the person thinks you are allowed to talk to her this way.

You on the other hand know that the pve map wellington still has a few overseen glitches and are paralyzed. you know that any moment something can happen, so you do not spend time typing even a hello, here fractions of seconds can count now. you keep your fingers on the keyboard, move away from her and repeat come, come, come, to keep your doggos out of her reach, while she, curious about your doggos, follows for a bit, probably to find out what a strange thing she just encountered: wellington chaos counterpart? come stay talking npc? what is that?

eventually she sees a hornet. uses whirlwind.

got my dogs partly away but still 2 got hurt. they went after her then of course. she started running, i ran in other direction, called doggos, afaik no harm done.

just… nothing this… wondering what the heck people need pvp spells on a pve map for and since it is clear they do not, then why is it still in the code.

noting also that using disorient as a target griefing method exists and is used.
noting also that killing dogs for griefing purposes exists too. this was just a funny newbie encounter but the next one could be different.

is it possible that the wellington map gets an update correcting pvp spells usage… and that we finally get dogs relabeled? they are not normal npc mobs. relabeling would take them out of pve content and the game could be played by pve players with doggos with a bit more chance to concentrate on training than avoiding whirlwind-hornet killernoobs 🙂

(boldly tagging this as a bug report because for one – been trying to talk about this issue for longer in discussion and do not know if it reached anyone of relevance. and also – I do honestly think this is really a bug. spells are pvp. wellington is pve. dog labeling is no clue how happened but could really need a correction)
