It’s really as simple as this: If you want to kill people turn on PvP. Otherwise keep it off.
Duels are irrelevant to the conversation because they don’t require PvP. Still waiting for OP to explain how giving players the option to not hit players below level 60 will stop other players from using low levels for dirty deeds. A raider would have infamy and if your pvp is off then you shouldn’t need to worry about alts at all. This thread is not about lag, mate. But congrats on being lag-free
Not a very convincing argument to add a function to only enable PvP against level 60+
There will always be dishonorable players.
You won’t get infamy if an alt attacks you first. If someone is standing next to an alt don’t WW. You could always take the 10 minutes to get an alt yourself to kill their alts for minimal infamy. Lot’s of ways to deal with a level 5…
Maybe try keeping /pvp disabled if accidentally killing people is causing you problems.Won’t respawn at all? So if I go to castle right now there will be 0 monsters in the hidden rooms? How long did you wait for them to respawn?
I play online games frequently and I don’t ever have problems disconnecting. I think it’s safe to assume this problem is unrelated to my ISP.
The only thing I could think to try was switching browsers, but that didn’t do anything.
I have a new PC and the problem persists. Is there anyone else who has had these types of disconnects? I have a hunch it could be related to having multiple accounts logged in on the same IP.lag is another issue.
I’m specifically concerned about getting disconnected and not being able to log back in. The game will freeze and allow me to move around for a while before it boots me. Then doesn’t allow me to log back in for another short period. It happens during combat and my character is left standing still and surrounded by hostiles. At this point I’ll have to fight weak monsters that couldn’t kill me when I’m surrounded for 20+ seconds.Sounds juicy
SS anyone?
I don’t know exactly when you’ll be required to unlock SM3 to be able to reach your new max level, but you shouldn’t need to worry about it for a while. I usually carn with my highest skill at 25 (for 1st blue star) so that leaves plenty of room for more XP without SM3. Just make sure you’re leveling skills that may have gathered dust sitting the back of the skill page. Fishing, Deconstruction, Tilling, Smithing, Smelting etc.
I would recommend spending more time at MAX farming Myst. 5k refund is pretty low. Killing raccoons for a few Myst at level 5 is much slower than getting 20%-30% of the Myst from a more difficult monster at max level.
Hope this helps
Good luck 🙂(ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

Is there a feature in the last 6 months that would have benefited from being available on an empty server first? If so, which one.
Hi Svxil!
Great idea. I’ve been ripping my hair out in frustration over the current system. Just one of many areas lacking any QoL. I was thinking a simple /name Doggo command would suffice.
Step 1. Select Dog
Step 2. /name X
Then you could “come Doggo” to have that specific pup follow you. Naming could piggyback on your idea requiring a leash. Doesn’t matter in the end so long as we can have a way of separating dogs. Calling for different dogs could be separated by a comma “come Doggo, Puppers, Spike” OR one by one. “come Doggo” “come Puppers”My eyes bleed when I see this.
Very disappointing to see this missing in the December notes ):In my opinion it’s best to reincarnate the skills that are hardest to level up FIRST.
For example, I’m reincarnating Exploration first because it’s absolutely devastating to lose these skill levels upon death. Idgaf about 4-6 Mining levels lost. Ya it sucks, but it’s much worse to lose 1-2 Exploration. If you reincarnate a lot of easy skills you’ll have to raise the more difficult skills passed them in order to Blue Star them, since ya know.. you carn your highest skill.
It’ll be slower reincarnations at first, but will pay off once you start getting multiple reincarnations.Best of luck, adventurer!
It’s good in theory, but not in practice.
The game already tried a Seasonal server and it was a bop as @KhaosBringer said. Turns out a game that is 90% GRIND isn’t as fun when you’re constantly getting reset.
Additionally PvP players, in general, don’t want to kill other PvP players. They prefer to kill innocent noobs because of the rare ingredient ‘sweet nectar’ you get from harvesting a noob’s blood (increased chance of dropping if they cry in WC.)
@tundrahunt3r As soon as you carry over any progression, like increasing level cap by 1 every month (+3 per wipe) then you’ve taken a shit on the epitome of a seasonal server – FRESH START.
