Log into each server on whatever their “Saturday evening” timezone is and see how active it is. Then make a decision based off that

true Takrogar … its just a further buff to crafting as its easier to buy bulk tinder/stone/wood off the monster amount of resource collectors on a seasoned server to make it rain stained and glowing gear everywhere vs trying to buy bulk wool/dyes. sure you can dupe wool off an altar but really?? you have to have a monster amount of gems to go. .. nah, lets do wool instead.

the worst kind of cowards are the ones that do most of the following:
#1 Abuse mechanics to raid players(usually much weaker then them) from the safety of a non-pvp housing area intended for casual non-pvp players, so that victims they violate cannot punish them back in a meaningful way.
#2 Cry foul and try to play the role of a “victim” because there are stronger people out there. It’s everyone’s fault but their own.
#3 They are unwilling to do the work and/or have the intelligence to get to that level of strength and want to be catered too
#4 despite #1, they have almost no insight why people do not respect them and therefore continuing this downward spiral

Wellington has made this type of player a viable way of being in ML, but to the detriment of the player base. Sometimes they have the intent to harass players in galebrook so much with the goal to get them to quit playing ML, with NO short term or long term consequences! This is terrible for the longevity of this game and for the mid level players that might tap out to cowards like this. I’ve outlined a solution for wellington in Dasquic’s topic here:

    The (BOTTING) problem and solutions.

    The (BOTTING) problem and solutions.

I’m feel confident that JVH is aware of this problem and is hesitant to release the Veteran Area until this Wellington problem is resolved. If you just launch this Advanced Zone right now, the cowards will just ruin it like they are currently ruining Galebrook and diminish player retention.

If anyone else can think of other ways to keep the spirit of wellington intact but greatly reduce the capacity of these cowards please put your thinking caps on, type it up, and submit it ASAP. Maybe if JVH sees something here that nudges him towards an update he can publish, we will all see the Veteran Zone sooner then later.

    Thanks

Dasquic, Mystera Legacy isn’t for everyone. If people playing within the legal boundaries set by JVH bothers you to the point where you want him to tighten his boundaries AND retroactively wipe accounts who broke zero rules… firstly, that’s highly unethical and maybe this game isn’t a good fit for you. Perhaps you should go play a game that’s a better fit with what you want in a pseudo-sandbox game. It’s not like your married to ML. you should consider Ultima Online, the OG of sandbox open PvP MMORPG games.

I’m just telling it how it is.. You’re telling it how you want it to be. No salt here bro. I’m not the one trying to manipulate the rules to suit my needs.

Well, I don’t bot gold but thanks for your solutions to mold the rules of the game to your playing style oops i mean trying to help improve the game.

Maybe you should just stick with facts instead of throwing accusations randomly. You’ll be more credible and respected that way.

Took 5 mins to find this.. That is the difference between people who complain and do nothing and expect to be served a solution. And us who accept reality, adjust, and solve problems, we get awnsers quickly and don’t need to be told to “read the guide”

There’s always haters… And haters gonna hate. Keep on going strong complaining about JVH’s rules!

But, I mean you done a great job adapting to JVH’s ML environment. Like the way you are using wellington

“This new town is for casual players, or new players who want a safe place to learn the game until they transition to Galebrook. It also functions as a refuge for people who are being hunted. It’s not an ideal place for high level players” http://www.mysteralegacy.com/2018/05/23/introducing-wellington-and-gem-experience/

So it looks like people like you that raid and hunt other people in market square and galebrook can hide in wellington to avoid justice.

JVH reduced xp gain and capped skill gain to lvl 80 there. Minutes alive is already tracked. If JVH can find a way to track minutes alive in a specific area(wellington), then he can fix this. All he would need to do is after a grace period of say 10 mins, every min you stay in wellington you lose X-amt of XP skill for all skills past 80 until your skills reach 80. The rate of XP loss would be dependant to your /mystcost. This would be an excellent way to keep wellington as a protected area for casual, newb and hunted players but be a true deterrent to high level Players.

But JVH hasn’t changed wellington yet and I respect his decision. Mainly because, there’s alot of other things in real life that i prioritize over ML. And I suspect that JVH has his RL priorities that are more important then developing this game 24/7.

I agree that Devs should focus on bug abusers.

JVH has earned the right to decide what is legal and what isn’t. He created the game after all.
I think it’s unfair that a 6’11 point guard that can hit deep 3’s at will should be allowed to play in the NBA. But, well, the game has decided that to be legal. What can you do. If enough 5 foot b-ball players complain then sure.. Maybe the NBA might change things up.

But ultimately like in real life, either adapt to the rule set and adjust your play accordingly. Or keep your tactics static and complain about the rule set.
