    I got three ideas.

First one is Monks, or martial artists.

Basically, make unarmed and unarmoured a more viable option by giving unarmed a %chance to deflect incoming attacks (without a shield) and unarmoured a %chance to parry based on level. So that a high ranked unarmed/unarmoured player has a chance to deflect incoming attacks for 0 damage and has a chance to get a free attack when attacked.

    Idea two is bards.

    Add a skill called music.

Bards equip instruments instead of weapons.

Different instruments, when played, give different AOE effects to allies and enemies. Power based on music level.

A drum, for instance might increase attack speed.

A flute might increase move speed.

A guitar maybe increases gather speed.

Could have xp bonuses, mystery bonuses, damage bonuses. Whatever.

The draw back is that the bard must hold the action button down to play. Which means he or she can’t fight while playing. But they’d he great supports for any and everything.

Wizards. Or, I’d call them mysters.

We have a really interesting potential for unique “spell casters”.

Add two new weapon types and one skill.

    Staves and tomes.

    Call the skill mystery.

Staves are two handed, low attack speed, low damage weapons that increase the effectiveness of myst abilities. (Damages, durations, ect. But not cooldowns.) The trade off is that they also increase myst costs.

Tomes decrease cooldowns and myst costs. But are held in the offhand and act like shields without block or defense.

While using either weapon, myst abilities “burn out” or are forgotten much faster.

The mystery skill is trained while holding one of these items everytime a myst ability is used. The mystery skill is used to make myst ability books.

This would give us an interesting new play style of characters with large libraries who have to carry many books and don’t fight well but can do a variety of useful things.

This “Myster” class would obviously wouldn’t work under current circumstances due to the low number of myst abilities but. Abilities like fireball, teleport, summons, throw, create rain… the actual possibilities are endless… could be added to make it a viable option for focused playstyle.

    Thanks for reading.

This is cute. Gives us more skills to max.
